Difference between Virgin Hair, Remy Hair, Human Hair and Synthetic Hair
Virgin and Remy Hair The difference between Virgin hair and Remy hair is that basically these two kinds of hair are all cut from the donor’s head. All hair is in the same direction Virgin hair is with cuticles and no chemical process. Some Remy hair has been under chemical treatment and had also their cuticles removed and still do not tangle, depends on the treatment and supplier’s experience. Remy refers to the cuticle layer of the hair being intact and aligned in one direction. The cuticle is the outer layer of a strand of hair. They are an important factor to consider when buying hair extension. When the cuticles are not aligned, the hair strands snag each other causing tangling and shedding. Virgin hair is hair that has not been dyed and chemically treated. Virgin hair is the highest quality hair because it is the easiest hair to manage most like the hair growing out of our scalps. If the virgin hair was collected from a single braid it is Remy.
Human Hair This hair is dipped in an acid bath batch to remove the cuticles, Silicone will be applied to give it a shiny look. The silicone effect will be washed out by the first or second shampoo and the remaining cuticles will create tangling and be almost impossible to detangle . Human hair is good for small budgets and temporary hair style
Synthetic hair Synthetic Hair man-made fibre that is cheaper but will never look like your own hair. It produces a different sheen than raw Virgin Hair, it could be mixed which Hair from Animals and cause Allergic reactions. We do not sell Synthetic or Human hair
